巨峰风景游览区
　　Jufeng Scenic Spot

位于崂山中南部，因崂山之巅巨峰而得名，占地面积7.4平方千米，以山海、天象、山林、奇峰、怪石、人文胜景等构成绝顶风光。景区似天工巧布，巨峰居中，巍然耸立，群峰环列，如众星捧月。作为崂山主峰，巨峰沿不同方向延伸出五大支脉，自然形成与主峰相呼应的八个山口。1998年，中国易经学会发现八个山口所在方位与中国古代典籍《易经》理念中的九宫八卦相符合，遂对巨峰游览区八卦门、天地淳和山门等进行文化内涵设计，将“大道之源”的哲学思想和“众经之首”的《易经》以物化形式再现于巨峰游览区。
　　Situated at middle south of Mt. Lao and covering an area of 7.4 km2, it’s famous for being the highest peak of Mt. Lao. The mountains and seas, astronomical phenomena, mountain forests, extraordinary peaks, fairy stones, humanistic spots weave the supreme sights of Jufeng. The Scenic Spot seems to be the delicate creation of nature, since Jufeng stands loftily in the middle surrounded by throngs of mountains like stars twinkling around the moon. As the prominent peak of Mt. Lao, Jufeng extends five great branch ranges along different directions and thus the eight mountain passes that echo with the prominent peak come into being naturally. In 1998, CHINA SOCIETY FOR I-CHING STUDIES found that the position of the eight mountain passes coincided with the Nine Palaces and Eight Diagrams in the conception of the ancient works I Ching, and then designed the cultural connotation of Eight Diagrams Gate, Heaven and Earth Harmonious Gate. Therefore, the philosophical thought of “the origin of the Great Taoism” and the “top of all classics” I Ching have reappeared at Jufeng Scenic Spot in the tangible form.
